Job Follow Up
When should I follow up on an application? How do I follow up?
It’s best to wait a week to follow up on any application – you want to give the recruiter and/or hiring manager some time to check out your resume.
For your applications to those jobs that you applied to directly through our site (as opposed to being brought to the hiring company's website to apply), the follow up process is simple. All you have to do is wait 3 full business days (this EXCLUDES weekends and holidays) to follow up.
On the 3rd day after you submitted your application, go to "My Active Jobs" on the Home page, and click on "Applied Jobs." Click on the title of the position you want to follow up with, and you’ll see a “Follow Up” button on the bottom of the page exactly where the “Apply” button had been when you applied originally.
When you click the follow up button, you will see a field to send your resume or upload a new resume and write a personalized message to the recruiter.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The follow up button will not be made available until 3 full business days following the day of application have gone by. Example, if you apply on a Monday, you will have to wait until midnight, the following Tuesday to apply.
In the case of jobs that you apply to directly on the hiring company's website, you will need to contact the company directly in order to follow up.
